Where I am? You’re probably wondering. What is Christopher doing with his life now- So here I am and I’ll tell you!
Currently I am, In Gainesville GA, working and doing a program with AIM (Adventures in Missions) the same people I did The World Race through. I am doing a program that is called CGA (Center Global Action). The program will help me discover my Kingdom Dream. It will also equip me with the skills to make it happen.
What my Kingdom Dream is: I want to figure out a way to- push forth the gospel showing the true love of God and getting people to truly fall in love with Abba. Its not a game, or what my friends do, or what my parents have done. To get peoples life to line up with the word of God and cause them to realize the seriousness of God.
I feel that a lot of people read the word and look at some of the stuff God says, and think. “ He is too loving to mean it” or “He is to gracious”. We as the church have put God in our little box. And it has become what we would do not what God would do. I want to make known the seriousness of our Father. Matthew 7:13-14 says many will not make it to heaven and again, in Matthew 24:7, it says many will be led away and not enter heaven and to be led away from Christ you have to be following him.
Judas was one of the 12 that Jesus handpicked himself. He saw so much of what Jesus did on this earth- and he still betrayed Jesus, went to the Pharisee, and asked what they would give him for Jesus. This clearly shows people can walk with Christ or rather think they are walking with him, and still walk away.
So my heart, my Kingdom Dream, is to bring that forward and making sure I do everything in my power to assure people are walking with God full heartily. The great thing is that all of this just happens when people just fall deeply in love with Abba! To make known the present of God-THAT is my heart. That he sits with us ALL THE TIME and never leaves us. It’s Beautiful!
I also have a massive heart for Worship. I am doing the Worship track here as well. God is bringing me into a season where I am starting to play more and sing more. I am not to sure where God will bring it- That’s why I am in CGA after all. Just to see God form it more, and show me direction on where to go with it. He has shown me so much already within the three weeks I’ve been here so far. I am super excited to see where he bring it all at the end of this.
Also, I mention before that I am also working here at AIM. Which has been really awesome as well so far.
I work in the World Race department. So basically I do everything for the race that was done for me on my race. I work underneath Chris Scott- We work with J and O squads and we are their logistic people. I keep up with fundraising for the squads- making sure people are on top of fundraising and getting their money in to us, I will work with UN (Unsung Hero’s), also helping the logistic people find places to stay at there debriefs and we handle where the teams are placed in the countries, like ministry sites and so forth. I started here on the 21st still getting moved in to everything and things with that should be smooth out here pretty soon.
Now that you are caught up with my life a little bit- I don’t get paid for the work I do here, its part time, so all of this is not free for me to do. Going on the race a year ago I sold everything to go so coming back from that I have nothing. But my Papa has everything and he has my back he told me to come here so I know he will provide. He has asked me to ask the church, His people, to help me go forth and live my Kingdom Dream. Coming off the race I still own $1,200 dollars, and all I need for CGA is $300 dollars a month.
