This past week FLEW BY! It was crazy good, though.
One evening, we took time to sit and dream with God. It was so cool! The Lord wants to give us the desires of our heart! He cares so much! We just have to hold our blessing with open hands and glorify Him through what He blesses us with!
Through this, the Lord just encouraged me and gave me so much excitement for the future, but at the same time, i am learning so much more about “being here now”, as a sign in my host home reads!
During our team time this week, we read in Jeremiah 29 (verses 4-14) and it talks about God’s people exiled in Babylon. Even though they are in exile, the Lord calls them to live their lives to fullest RIGHT WHERE THEY ARE trusting that He will get them through exile.
This was so cool to read because it reminded me to live my life right where the Lord has placed me! Yes, He has given so much hope and excitement for the future, but I want to be as present as i possibly can where He has me NOW!
Another awesome thing the Lord showed me this week, He actually showed me through doing a small exercise with my friend at Camp Hope!
The sweet girl i was working with has a habit of clenching her fists together so we work on openings her hands up and laying them out flat in her lap. When she has her fists clenched, she tends to be more anxious, but once she opens her hands, she is completely still and peaceful.
Through this exercise, the Lord reminded me that the most peace comes from having my heart open to hear Him and also holding my blessings with my hands wide open!! i want Him to be in every single moment and when i rest in Him and have my heart open to Him and His voice, there is peace and comfort and hope!!! HE IS SO GOOD AND THIS HAS BEEN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SEASON AND I AM LOVING IT ALL!!!
