Hello! The last few days, i have been living on a sleeping bag filled room in Gainseville, GA with some pretty awesome people!

Training camp was truly amazing.

Not only was it so cool to FINALLY get to meet my team, but i also got to witness the presence of God in so many beautiful ways.

Training camp is to help equip us and give us time to prepare our hearts for what is ahead. There was lots of learning, worshipping, laughing, crying, just being still with the Lord, anddddd bucket showers 😉

After being introduced to a ministry tool, we got the opportunity to get together with our team and try it out. This ranged from just talking about how we have been feeling, to studying scripture together, to praying over each other and experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit!

One moment i want to share is from the second night! We got to learn and dive deeper into what prophecy is and learn more about who the Holy Spirit is. The speaker felt led to pray over each of us racers individually (there were around 70 of us) and so he decided to create a prayer tunnel. Literally exactly what it sounds like. We all lined up and walked through a tunnel, one-by-one, and got to have leaders praying over each of us so intentionally.

If i am being honest, i was a little hesitant when he mentioned this idea because i wasn’t sure how anyone would have known how to pray for each person individually since we had all just met, but MAN, the Lord was veryyyy quick to remind me of His mighty power and convict me for even doubting Him in the slightest.

For a little backstory: the months leading up to the race have been hard. And just plain not good at some points. This time of transition is so weird and new and scary and sad (but can also be so rewarding, exciting, and happy as i am now discovering thanks to the grace and hope i have in Jesus!) anxiety has tried to creep in and distract me because i do not have plans for the spring set in stone and the enemy has let me believe a lie saying that i won’t figure anything out in time and it will just be messy! i have experienced feelings of rejection and loneliness too. (and then been reminded of who i am in Christ through so many loving people He has blessed me with) The enemy has just been trying really hard to distract and discourage me in this new season and sometimes it is hard to knock that away, but one of my biggest prayers going into the race and training camp was that the Lord would bring me peace and help me remember His faithfulness and how HE HAS NEVER EVER FAILED ME! EVER! AND HOW HE NEVER WILL!

And oh my goodness, He did that.

As i walked through the line, i felt distracted, a bit anxious, and discouraged, but as soon as i walked into the tunnel, the first thing that was prayed over me was this:

“And we know that in all things, God works for the GOOD of those who love Him. That is what i hear and even though things may not seem good recently, He is faithful and He will make all things GOOD.”

i was so overwhelmed with the presence of the Lord and so blown away by the obedience of the people that were praying these things over me. All through the tunnel, i was reminded of the Lord’s faithfulness and provision over my life and every worry, fear, and sadness was lifted from my shoulders! It was truly amazing and refreshing to encounter the Lord like that.

The Lord showed His us His love, affirmation, and power through hearing testimonies of other people encountering Him these past few days as well! People were healed! Spiritually! Physically! Emotionally! We learned! Grew! And HE IS WORTHY OF EVERY SINGLE PRAISE!

i am feeling so encouraged as i sit here in the airport waiting on my flight to Ecuador to begin this journey! He is going to be showing up BIG all over the world and i am more than excited that i get the opportunity watch it all unfold!

Thank you, to everyone, for your endless support, love, and prayer! i am so grateful!

Please continue to pray for my team and all of the other teams that are heading out tonight and for every soul that we will get the privilege to encounter! i pray that we would all serve in humility and obedience with the Lord’s guidance!
