My name is Chloe Clendinning, I am a 25 year old life LOVER from Northern Ireland, and in January 2018 I am going on ‘The World Race’.
My life so far has consisted of wonderful family & friends, school, university, dancing and my career as a doctor. I became a Christian when I was 22 and have spent the past few years learning, listening and growing into the person He is shaping me to be.
Over the past 18 months God placed it into my heart that there was more for me than what I had planned, & despite never having done anything like this before, he put ‘The World Race’ in my path. I spent the next year talking myself in & out of applying, and now here we are! Officially accepted and planning my year long mission trip around the world.
At the start of 2017 I set out to find my word & scripture for the year, and the Lord made both of these very clear to me;
Obedience
“Here I am Lord, send me” Isaiah 6:8
How could I ignore Him? So here I am – following Jesus, saying goodbye to every ounce of my ‘normal life’ & heading out onto the mission field with 50 people I have never met before..
