The past week, this last week of the Race has been a time of reflection in many ways.  But to confess, it has also been characterized by nervousness about life back home.  I never expected such discomfort at the thought of it all.  In ways I am terrified of being back home, culminating in some sleepless nights and restless days.  In this, I'm seeing the Lord come to me.  To remind me of key things about Himself in my life, and reminding me about what He has in store for me.  He's such a good Papa!

All this being said, one of the areas He is working on in my life, is giving me the courage and trust in Him to back up and be the foundation for the crazy dreams and passions that have developed in my heart this year.  And so, I want to tell you about one of them, because for such things, I need prayer support especially in this time.

As of September 2013, I will be apprenticing with Adventures In Missions as a part of its Center for Global Action.  I am thoroughly excited about this next venture, and here's a little why.

Back in March, during the Parent Vision trip when my dad came to Kenya, God started revealing to me things that my heart had been craving, but had remained hidden to me for some time.  I was blessed to have Clint Bokelman, one of the leaders of AIM, lead that trip.  And through him, God revealed that I had been craving a season of discipleship and being mentored and poured into by powerful men and women that are working in the kingdom.  Clint helped me realize some areas of my life that the Lord wanted to develop, and it was through this that I felt that CGA would be an appropriate place to have mentorship and to continue to pursue spiritual development along with my kingdom dreams.

The CGA/Apprentice Program is a launching pad dedicated to holistic development through community, apprenticeship and discipleship.  It will be a time where I continue to live in and learn how to operate in kingdom community in a more "real life" setting (let's be honest, the World Race doesn't really replicate "real" life.)

I will be a part of the worship track in this program, learning what it means for our lives to be worship to God, and in hopes to learn more about this idea of prophetic worship and healing ministry through it, as has been prophesied over me multiple times in the last year.  I will also be taking classes that focus on discipleship, spirit-led living, community living in a noncommittal culture, missional living, and partnerships.  I also hope to be working in the mornings at AIM, assisting in their Adventures for Life department, that focuses on developing intentional communities around the country.

As a part of this program, I will be living off of support again.  I'm blessed in this way, because I know the Lord has called me to pursue this, to pursue developing leadership, and the other inheritances He has given me.  I trust Him in this, as I watched him provide abundantly for me through supporters during the course of my Race.

I will be attending CGA for four months, and so the cost of that will be $2400.  That amount includes housing, a $200 cash stipend paid to the participant, and program costs. There may be additional costs for books, travel, and extra-curricular activities as well however.  I will get into that in another blog however, so be looking out for that.

I am excited about this next season of my life, and what the Lord has in store to be a part of the awesome things that AIM is putting into the works around the world.  There are a lot of kingdom dreams that the Lord has put into my heart this year, and I hope this will be a time of developing those, and understanding what it will be to begin working on those for the next season.

My hope is to meet with as many of you, my supporters, upon arriving Stateside, so that I can share my heart in full with you.

And honestly, because I'm more interested in hearing your heart and hearing about your dreams and passions.  Please contact me if you would like to meet sometime this summer!
