As a lot of you know, I am finishing school at the University of North Georgia. So….what’s next you ask? Well, this past year I think I finally understood what it means to surrender my life to Christ, and through this surrender He has molded and transformed my heart to beat with His. Prior to giving my life to Him I had no desire whatsoever to be a missionary, especially in another country, but He has different plans for me! I am very excited to share with you a new chapter that’s starting in my life: The World Race! If you’re thinking that sounds suspiciously athletic: don’t worry, it’s not. It’s an 11-month mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. In July of 2013 I will be sharing the love Christ has shown me with communities in need. I will travel to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Nepal, India, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania. My team and I will get to teach English, befriend women who are trapped in prostitution, work with orphans and children with disabilities, minister in prisons, pray for sick, plant churches, do some manual labor and anything else we can to meet the specific needs of each country and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many communities.
You’re probably thinking why? Why would I want to live out of a back pack and travel for the next 11 months when I have never even been out of the country? Matthew 28:18-20 states “And Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded of you.” When Jesus says this, He meant it literally. So, I want to literally go out and make disciples of ALL NATIONS for His glory.
I am so grateful for this opportunity, and have every confidence that God will provide for my needs. Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you, and that you will partner with me in taking His love to the ends of the earth. I need prayer warriors who are committed to praying for me throughout my trip and preparation.
This trip will be life changing and extremely hard, prayers for me, my team, and our ministries will be continually needed. If you are willing to partner with me in prayer, please let me know so I can keep you informed on the prayer requests that arise.
Secondly, I need financial support. The entire trip will cost $15,500.00, which covers all expenses while I am on the field. I know that seems like a lot of money, but I know it’s possible. If only 25 people pledge $50 a month for 12 months, I will be fully funded for the trip. I will be doing fundraisers and talking to organizations/companies in the area, but I also hope you will prayerfully consider making a donation to my trip – every penny counts. My goal is to have the full amount raised before I leave in July so I can focus on what God has planned for my trip while I’m gone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter and prayerfully considering partnering with me in this calling. I am humbled that God has asked me to go to the nations to shine His glory. I pray that God continues to bless you as you consider joining me on this journey.

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never hear? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
Romans 10: 14-15
