This might be a misleading title… I can’t tell you “all”. Only God knows all!! (; But I can answer the questions you sent me! I asked for some crowd participation on various social media and you guys came through! So without further adieu, here are some honest answers.

What’s a blog post?

Well, a blog post for me is usually a picture, video, or typed out thoughts posted to one personal website! This is my blog! So I guess anything on here can be considered a blog post (:

What advice would you give someone who is wanting to do what you’re doing?

If you mean World Race specifically, I would say to start by looking at World Race’s website for various resources. Then go search on YouTube for Julia Robertson and watch a few of her vlogs. Get a really good idea of what exactly you’ll be living like and who you’ll be serving. Ask yourself the hard questions. Not just the “Do I love to travel and love God? DUH!” Ask yourself if you are truly willing to drop everything that does not honor God. Can you let go of excess comfort, reckless monetary spending, harmful relationships, alcohol, sex, harmful speech, and safe spaces? If in communion with God you realize that you are willing and happy to let go of those things in order to serve people in 5+ countries for a year… then I say go for it! Be prepared to answer your interview questions with some serious honesty. This community values honor and integrity. I have ended a lot of friendships with people that were toxic to my spiritual walk in order to do this. But you will forge some of the greatest, realest, deepest friendships through this journey. Be prepared to be really dirty. Really lacking in privacy. Really raw. Physically prepare as well as financially. I highly suggest not procrastinating! Get onto fundraising and NEVER STOP PRAYING. I cannot emphasize the importance of community with God. He will be there in every moment of this process if you only reach out to Him for that guidance. Seek fellow believers to pray over you before you decide. Ask for trusted advice. God will speak through his people! If anyone would like to hear my walk to World Race more in depth then please call me!

What are you most nervous about for the World Race?

Pooping my pants. I know it is gonna happen. I’m just waiting out the inevitable.

What’s your fav color?

Glitter (that is a valid color.)

What’s your fav food?

Tied for my grandma’s French toast and my mom’s homemade mac n cheese!

How do you feel about “All Squad Month”? Are you excited?

Little explanation for non-World Race readers: Throughout the majority of the race, I’ll travel into a country with my whole squad of 35 people and then we all split off into our teams of 6 or 7 people to different ministry sites.. But we get this one awesome month in Romania with ALL 35 OF US IN ONE MINISTRY LOCATION!!! I can’t even really explain how excited I am to be with my huge happy family all together so I will do so in image format.

His expression is my current expression. One of TOTAL STOKEDNESS AND ENTHUSIASM FOR LIVING IN SICKKKKK COMMUNITY WITH MY WHOLE ENTIRE SQUAD!!!

Have you ever thought about not doing the race anymore or questioned if it was still where God is calling you?

This is a tough one! I honestly haven’t had a single moment of thinking “I shouldn’t be doing this” since I first applied. I have had a few tough moments when things got lonely or frustrating though. Not that I questioned whether He was calling me to this, but WHY he would call me into something so difficult and so foreign. I am so grateful that He forced me to ask that question though! I went and looked for the answer. He has placed this calling on my heart because he knows that I need to be humbled, stripped down to the baseboards, and shown just how AWESOME He truly is! Really, I cannot wait to follow this to the ends of the Earth. Not just on the World Race, but in every aspect of my life.

Why have you suddenly grown fond of sweet potatoes?

Okay, I promised to keep these anonymous but this one needs further explanation. MOM. I TOLD YOU. I’ve always loved them!!! I just hate sweet potato casserole. Potatoes of any sort do not need marshmallows on top.

My mother is upset that when I lived at home, I refused to eat her sweet potato casserole. But now that I’m here, I’m very happy to eat BAKED sweet potatoes. Because they’re b a k e d. Not casserole. Geez.

Well, that’s all that I have for now! Please remember to leave a comment and subscribe for updates! I am still working towards my final fundraising goal of $14,951 right now and I am currently at $10,813!!! More on that later. In the meantime, please continue to pray for me! TTYL!
