It is currently September 4th!! In four more days, I will be on my way to ATL once again. This summer has been fantastic and I’ll be sad to say goodbye, but I can’t hardly contain my readiness to see my squad. My bag is packed and ready to go already; sitting in the corner and reminding me every single day that I’m about to have the best year of my life. In some ways, this is goodbye. This is most likely the last blog post I’ll write from the comfort of my grandma’s sewing room. This is the last week of community group with Canal Street Church. The last few days of playing with Boudreaux and Saint. Bittersweet has never suited a situation more. This post has no other purpose than to say this: THANK YOU. Your prayers, donations, and words of kindness have propelled me to this final week before Launch. I remember back in November when my mom and I tossed around this wacky idea of a gap year. Never in my wildest dreams could I have predicted the level of love and support you’ve all shown me! With only $4,000 left to raise, I’m most certainly in the home stretch of support raising. That’s just $1,000 per month until my December deadline! Please continue to donate as you feel led! Your donations will be what keeps me on the field! I would love to have more monthly supporters! Specifically, these are my monthly donation needs:

1 x $200

2 x $100

4 x $50

15 x $10

If those pledges are made from now until December, I’ll be fully funded and can devote 100% of my heart and soul to the work we’re actually doing on the field! This is such an incredible opportunity that I would love for you to join me in!

Above all, please pray! As important as the funding aspect is, prayer is the priority. I am seeking 10 (TEN) people to commit to praying with me on a weekly basis! If you would be interested in being a prayer warrior for me, please comment or message me on Facebook!

Thank you all again and I can’t wait to show you what the Lord is doing!

I’ll be posting videos, pictures, and blogs as I am able to!

Talk soon,

Chessie
