if adults could go to daycare recreationally,
i might be one of the first to sign up for that gig.

i went far and above to keep what a clear head about the reputations these kids have.
and i am glad i did!
i feel head over heels! and it's more than residual emotions from Valentine's Day!
these kids are smart.
these kids are energetic.
these kids are starving for the manifestion of Jesus Christ, if even for two to three hours of the day.
how could anyone not want to invest in their lives?!

my Spanish is laughable and I keep being reminded of that.
the gift I can best offer is big cheesy smiles and bear hugs.

our ministry lead, Brenda, is such a force to be reckoned with.
her class is luckier than they know.

every day, she has been able to use Bible stories to show them new and possible adventures
if only they would believe in the true and living God. she is firm with them and they respect her.
and Courtney, the Inca Link intern, loves teaching English. this world needs a clone of her.

i reviewed numbers and phrases in english and spanish
until my eyes crossed and i was falling asleep at the table!
so the presence of Team Luminous really just added extra heart to the lessons!

this week was amazing and i am sad to say goodbye. it is hard to imagine next week without them.
