Well let’s start with my name. It’s pronounced Shuh-nay Shocker.
That’s probably not phonetically correct so sorry 
As a college graduate with a broadcast journalism major, I was pretty stoked to have an awesome TV name.
But really…
- I’ve seen Jesus do some pretty miraculous things.
- I like to ask questions and I suppose that’s why I ended up with the degree I did.
- Sports talk is something I’m fluent in & also a reason I ended up in journalism.
- I want to just get out in the world and go be the hands and feet of God.
- Complete surrender to Jesus is the aim for my life.
- I have split an arrow before just like Katniss Everdeen.

- My feet get a little antsy to dance when the country music starts
- If someone won’t dance with me…well that’s just fine because my boots can move on their own
- Luckily, I have some pretty amazing friends that rarely let me dance alone
- Speaking of dancing, my name comes from the “Chaine turn” in ballet because my mother used to dance her feet off too. (She was much more talented though)
- I want to see God’s glory prevail in every situation more than I want to eat mac’n cheese or my mom’s french toast (it’s pretty much incomprehensible)
- I LOVE kids. There hasn’t been one thing more fulfilling than loving them.
- If you don’t want to share your cake, cookies, bread or really any baked goods keep them far, far away from me
- I’m learning everyone has a story that explains who they are today – but not who God is turning them into.
- I have dreams to show people’s stories about God’s grace
