Music and Lyrics

I am moved by music a lot of the time. I love when I wake up with a song in my head. I’ve heard that is sometimes how the Holy Spirit will speak to us, and HOW incredible is that! He wants to know something new, or worship the Holy One in a different way, or maybe even convict us. I love listening to my favorite worship songs over and over and when I go to sleep. A few of my faves are Hosanna, Mighty To Save, In Christ Alone, Everlasting God, Song of Hope, Oh Happy Day and a song called Falling On My Knees by David Matsumura (AKA Kokua, find him on itunes, HE IS AMAZING! You wont be disappointed!)

 

Some people can get sick of the same ol’ songs all the time. NOT ME! The songs above are my ultimate all time loves. I love how the Holy Spirit captivates you and presses into me through these songs. They are uplifting and beautiful. I would spend hours in live worship if I had it at my fingertips. But I’ll suffice with just listening to them on my ipod. I miss having an hour of worship at church on Friday nights at Hope in Maui…. Wishes will only get me so far but I wish I could be there to worship all the time.
