I am home! Well I am back in my home country!
I have made it to Guatemala! We arrived Monday afternoon, when we got to the base it started to rain which was quit the experience trying to get all our stuff off the bus in the rain!
The base we are staying at is beautiful, the views are incredible like you can see a volcano from the base! HOW COOL IS THAT?
The food is really good too! I have made sure to try everything at least once since, it isn’t very often I get to be here and I want to be able to say that I tried everything!
In order for us to laundry we have to hand wash our clothes and oh my goodness, I just want to say I AM SUPER THANKFUL FOR WASHER AND DRYERS! Being able to hand wash my clothes is such a great experience but it is also hard. It is so hard getting all the water out of jeans! But I love jeans so it is worth it! It is also time consuming doing laundry since it takes so long!
I still have not fully processed being here in Guateamala, it feels so surreal! Once I am able to fully process it I will write a blog about how I feel!
