World Race Training Camp.

I don't really have words to describe it still. I'm not even certain of everything I'm feeling now that I'm in the wake of it. It's overwhelming, really. All I know for certain is that I love Jesus more. Mmmhmm.

That said, let me open up a bit and give you a glimpse into the week that was World Race Training Camp. But first…… let me introduce you to my family!!!!

N Squad: One big, crazy, lovable, incredible family.

Okay. Now for some details.

Highlights:

60 people (and 120 packs/daypacks) spending the night in a school bus.
A night of sleeping in a swamp with only the stars above me.
Fish gruel for breakfast.
Freezing cold mornings where it was a struggle to burrow out of my sleeping bag.
NONSTOP DANCE PARTIES– I'm talking legit pop & locking street style dance parties.
Handwashing hundreds of dishes while singing every imaginable Disney song.
Learning to live in authentic community.
Empowerment by the Holy Spirit: a glimpse. a taste. of the depths He wants to take me to.

Things I learned (was reminded of):

How to set up and break down all my gear (tent, sleeping bag, etc…) in record breaking times.
That God knew what He was doing when He put me on NSquad– dancing. all the time. my heart is happy.
That I eat so much sugar on a regular basis that I had withdrawals within a day of no sugar.
Submission. (more to come on this later)
That I will be stretched and challenged more than I ever thought possible over the next year.
Basking in the Presence of the Lord is the most delightful activity.
