Ukraine became independent when the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991.
Loved serving alongside Pastor Nicolai & his family. (Street Evangelism, Youth Programs, Church Renovations, Worship in the Park)
Vera. [month 5 lifelong prayer] Somewhere between 60-70 years old, she lived on the street, sleeping in an alcove of stairs every night. Wary of approach, adamant against a picture, overlooked & forgotten. She grabbed my heart, because she is an image-bearer of the King. I held her hand, looked into her eyes, and prayed. Underneath words of life straight from the Living God, she relaxed and for a brief moment was set free from the bondage she lives in. May she walk in freedom with Jesus.
