Our contacts: Pastor Ivan, his wife Nanci, and their son Isaac. This family was such a blessing to us. We will never forget their hospitality, Nanci's wonderful home-cooked meals, Ivan's voice saying "Let's go!" (the only English words he knew) at the most inopportune times, and Isaac calling everyone "loco!". It was an honor to do ministry alongside them in Huaticocha.
We do work in the jungle. Wielding machetes became a common practice for us.
