Well, it’s happening.

It really is.

Currently, I am in Washington, D.C. walking through some final days of training before embarking for ECUADOR on Friday!

Here’s what I know about my upcoming time in Ecuador:

My team is going to be in the middle of the Amazon Jungle.

We are in a village called Huataraco (go ahead and try to GoogleMap it). It is 30 minutes from a village called Huaticocha (try to GoogleMap that one too). 6 hours from Quito. (there, you can find that one!)

As far as ministry, no details have been given. We have been told that we might be working with some communities and construction. However, we have no idea what that means. So stay tuned for a future update to find out!

Since it appears that we will be in the middle of the jungle, I most likely will have no access to internet. But, know that as soon as I am back on the grid, I will be posting stories from the first month!

I'm so thankful and excited to be a part of this adventure that the Lord has laid before me.

( Oh, and fun fact about Ecuador? Apparently, guinea pigs are a delicacy. !!!!! )

And finally….. if you miss me in this first month, watch The Jungle Book and think of me.
