This month at Asha has been so amazing. We’ve only got 3 more days here before we head off to our month 5 debrief and then to Nepal.
The goodbyes have been a little reversed though. Usually it’s us coming for a month and then at the end of the month we say goodbye and then drive away… We found out that most of the kids here go stay with some of their family when school gets out for a few weeks. It’s been hard watching them leave, because I really have fallen in love with them.
Last week I was able to talk during Sunday school and I spoke about prophecy and how it’s good to practice listening to God and what He is saying about the people around us. To speak Life and Truth into them.
As a team we sat down and prayed over each and every child and adult that lives here and wrote down what we know God says about them. We wrote them down and then we had the kids decorate some crowns we cut out and then we had them come up and crowned them as royal children of God.
As Proverbs 18:21 says, “The tongue has the power of LIFE and DEATH, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
As Christians we have the power to speak Truth over others, because we have Christ in us; and who knows how that can affect a person or child.
