The Lord has already blessed me so much in preparing for this trip! I have about $330 in support. AND my friend and World Race Alumni (Rachel Riggs) is letting me use all of her gear for the trip! so that saves me a lot of money 🙂
Support raising is scary and stressful at times, but it is really helping me grow in my relationship with God and with other people.
In other news, life has been pretty crazy these past few weeks. My job is split up into two locations.. and the location where i get most of my hours is closing tomorrow! i’ve been working in the same place for almost 5 years and i’ll be sad to say goodbye to the few co-workers i won’t see anymore.
it’s kinda scary to lose all those hours, but i’m praying that the Lord will provide.
i know this is a super short blog, but i just wanted to give an update of what is going on in life right now!
please be praying for the situation with the oil spill in the gulf and also that we will have NO hurricanes this year!!
