We made it to Australia!! Our current location is Jubilee Pocket in Airlie Beach. Yeah, I know.. we’re right by the beach again… and it’s AWESOME. πŸ˜‰

Sorry for not posting a blog sooner, but we have limited internet access this month. SO here’s the 411:

We’re staying at the YWAM base here. They usually have Discipleship Training Schools here but they felt God telling them not to have one this month and then BAM! Lit2Blaze is the first World Race team here.

A lot of our ministry this month is mainly going to be focused on prayer; two mornings out of the week we wake up early and pray for a few hours and the three days we go out into the area and prayer walk for a few hours.

We also have some manual labor thrown in, we’re going to a Christian (about 10%) school to share and have fun with the kids… among other things. We’re just goin’ with the flow.

It’s been a little rough for me this first week. Just trying to figure out what exactly we’re doing and where we’re going and getting used to the fact that not EVERY detail is going to be planned out. And just getting rid of all my expectations.

It’s funny because the WR tells you “Don’t have any expectations” and you’re like well yeah, of course. That’s easy. Not. It’s definitely been a process, but I will keep on learning until I get it!

We’ve only been here for a week and I’ve already had to work on my attitude majorly. I’ve been feeling really selfish and judgmental lately. And it really sucks to look at myself and see those things that I just don’t like. But I know that God is working in me and changing my heart so I won’t ALWAYS be this way.
so yesh, please be praying for my team and I about that, because we’re all kinda going through similar things.
