Our time in Thailand is officially over. CRAZY.
I seriously cannot believe that I’ve already been on the World Race for 1 month. I’m realizing how fast time really does go by..

Last month was amazing in so many ways..
God allowed me to see a woman die and then come back to life after we prayed for her.
My team and I made a lot of friendships with the women on Bangla Road. We might never see what happens to them now that we’re gone, but we do know that God will continue to send people to show His love for these women.

Right before we left Phuket, two teams from the October squad showed up and on our last night of ministry we were able to take them out and just kinda show them what we’d been doing and how to handle certain situations.. and they were AMAZING. It was just so awesome to see the connections they started with the women we had been talking to and even new women they met.

It definitely gave my team and I peace about leaving.

We were also able to help our contacts start working on the land where they will be building the new center in Phuket (build a bridge, cut down some jungle, pull up weeds and plant flowers) it was a lot of fun and it helped out our tans! ๐Ÿ™‚

My teammate Andrew wrote and awesome blog you should check it ouuut! “Building Bridges

There were also nights that we were able to go out into the neighborhood and play with some of the kids.
I absolutely LOVED it. Even though it was pretty tiring at times. It was just so obvious the kids just wanted to be loved on and played with.

There is one little girl in particular that I’m REALLY going to miss. Her name is Pancake. She is probably almost everyone’s favorite, but while we were there I know that she really cared about me too. ๐Ÿ™‚

The last day we were in Phuket, I was able to hang out with Pancake for most of the day and it was so much fun. She even started repeating the things I was saying in english.. and by the time we had to leave and say goodbye she hugged me with all her might and gave a big smile and said, “I love you!”.
It was so cute and sweet.. I’m going to miss her little face.

I’m so thankful that God is allowing me to be apart of this crazy thing called the World Race.

I think that this year I’m going to love more than I ever have before and I’m going to learn how to be loved as well. I can’t wait. ๐Ÿ™‚

love,
Chelsea
