This adorable little boy is Nicholas(4 .. he was being silly)
and this is his little brother, Kelvin(3).
Like most of the children at El Shaddai, they have a story that will break your heart.
About a year ago, these two little boys had a completely different living situation.
We found out that these two little babies used to live with their mother, but one day she just left them in a locked room and never came back.
Nicholas tried to take care of his little brother and feed him for as long as he could, but eventually he became so desperate that he stacked things up against the wall and climbed out of a window to go get help, because his little brother was starving to death.
The police looked for their mom, but I don’t think they ever found her… and the boys were taken to El Shaddai.
They are two of the happiest kids… and it’s just amazing that they went through that at such a young age.
And they aren’t the only ones… our contact told us story after story of children who were abused physically/sexually, locked in a room and abandoned or just given to the Mission.
But because of places like El Shaddai, these kids have a beautiful life. They are being loved and learning about the love their heavenly Father has for them.
Please keep Swaziland, and places like El Shaddai in your prayers. 🙂
