Hey everyone!
My name is Chelsea! I am 22 years old, and I love learning new things (specifically things that get me active and outdoors). I love to bike, either mountain biking or road biking, play sports, kayak, and hike. I grew up in Kansas, and there are few mountains, so when I do travel to areas with higher altitudes, I take advantage of all the hiking opportunities. Anything that gets me outside, I enjoy participating in.
I graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Mathematics back in May of 2016. This past year, I spent my time working in a middle school as a student teacher and then paraeducator. Through that experience, I learned my love and passion for youth.
Recently, my interests started to wander toward opportunities that would lead me into unknown territory, both physically and mentally. I learned about The World Race a few years ago when a friend participated, and I thought I’d look into it. From there, the process turned into lots and lots prayer and finally became a commitment to leave the US to travel to 11 countries all over the world in 11 months. I have no doubts the Lord has called me on this journey, and I welcome you to follow along with me as I prepare and eventually launch on the race.
