1. I bought a choco banana from a guy on a street out of the bus window.

  2. I saw an “erupting” volcano.

  3. I ate BBQ and drank sweet tea from a mason jar! 

  4. I participated in the game “How Many People Can Fit on a Chicken Bus” several times.

  5. I learned how to play Spicy Uno.

  6. I threw a water bag at a group of torch runners. (Don’t be alarmed! It’s a tradition here.) 

  7. I went to a bilingual church service at a church called Shoreline.

  8. I ate a lot of ice-cream. (Once at 9:30 in the morning!)

  9. I befriended a puppy at Lake Atitlan whom I named Shadow.

  10. I had several revelations/reminders about God’s character and how He views me.

  11. I was a nurse again. (In all honesty, I was more like a nurse practitioner, and how cool is that?!) *Read about it here.

  12. Our squad celebrated a birthday! 

  13. I had my first crepa con nutella.

  14. I rode a horse up a volcano and roasted flavored marshmallows at the top.

  15. I ate at the nicest Taco Bell I’ve ever seen in my life.

  17. I colored giant pictures of the Jetsons and made sheep masks.

  18. I prayed and worshipped over the new Adventures in Missions: Guatemala base.

  19. I went to some great coffee shops! (My favorite was Maya Kape, and my usual drink was an oreo frappe!)
