With 2017 ending and 2018 beginning, I took some time to reflect back on my favorite memories from the year (in no particular order):
1. Feeling truly free in Christ and finding my worth
2. Hiking a volcano
3. Doing so many types of ministries
4. Dying my hair teal
5. Preaching (and actually liking it!)
6. Meeting baby Archae
7. Going to 6 different countries, 3 different continents, and swimming in 3 different bodies of water
8. So. Many. Kids.
9. Celebrating Christmas with Mom in July
10. Dancing my way around the world
11. Getting our prophet dresses made
12. Learning the ”secret” to having joy
13. When I became fully funded
14. Making so many new friends
15. Cody and Morgan’s engagement
16. Riding a moto
17. Using a machete
18. Being an African “princess”
19. American Thanksgiving in Nicaragua
20. Mama Susan and Papa Gary’s 50th anniversary party
21. Doing healthcare ministry in most of the countries I’ve been to (even if it’s just praying with patients or being a nurse to my teammates)
22. Sunrises and sunsets
23. Trying so many types of food
24. Going to the mountains with my parents
25. All the baby animals!!!
2017 has been such a whirlwind of a year, and it had some super awesome memories…but I know that 2018 has the ability to be even better! I will make 2018 a year of more growth, more laughter, and more adventures, because I will seek God and His guidance every step of the way. Here’s to new beginnings and new opportunities!
