Saturday Road Trip

 

    

     Amazing day!  There are 4 World Racers that are currently calling Arizona their home.  We all got to meet in “real life” today!  Alana lives in Scottsdale, so she drove down to my apartment in Phoenix and we went on our road trip down to Tucson (it’s only 1½ hours outside of Phoenix).  I’ll admit I was a little nervous meeting another World Racer.  It felt a like I was about to go on a blind date.  We have all seen each other’s blog pages and even chatted on Facebook, but have never met in person.  Well, needless to say it was much better than a blind date!  I had a great time driving down to Tucson with Alana.  I was finally able to talk about the World Race with someone else who is going. 
     We met up with Bethany and Janna at Beyond Bread.  Anything with bread in the title has to be amazing, and it was!  It was such a blessing to be with them and share our excitement, questions, fears, and anticipation.  It made the October World Race real and come to life.  We are really doing this…11 countries in 11 months…making disciples and reaching our world.  I can’t wait for Ignition training camp when I get to meet the rest of the team!!!
