We all struggle with it. Truth. What is it? We are all searching for our identity and inevitably ask the same question, “Who am I?” We can answer this question in a variety of ways. In my own life it has been answered by what I did (I’m a basketball player.) or who I was dating (I’m Chris’ girlfriend.). What is your identity found in, your job? your family? your church? your denomination? your status? the clothes you wear? the people you hang out with? the car you drive? the house you have? None of these things are necessarily bad in themselves, but the problem comes when we allow these things to define us, when we find our identity in these things.

I have spent the past few days with the phenomenal women of Team .APEX and I was able to declare some truth from God’s word over them about their true identity and I want to share it with y’all as well. This is who they are, this is who I am, this is who YOU are::

You are COMPLETE in Christ. (Colossian 2:10)
You are CHOSEN by God. (Ephesians 1:4; 1 Peter 1:2)
You are BEAUTIFUL and DEARLY LOVED. (Romans 1:7; Ecc. 3:11; Song of Songs 1:15)
You CAPTURE THE HEART of the Father. (Song of Songs 4:9)
The Lord is FAITHFUL to your heart. (Hebrews 13:5b; Psalm 89:8)
You have received POWER and BOLDNESS by the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8; Eph. 6:19-20)
You find your CONFIDENCE in your IDENTITY as a BELOVED son/daughter of the King of Kings. (Proverbs 3:26; Eph. 1:5; Romans 8:15)

This is TRUTH! Don’t listen to the TRASH that the Enemy gives you. Don’t let lies define who you are. Be grounded in the truth, speak these things over yourself. Climb up on a chair and declare these truths in your life and into the lives of those around you. Your words are powerful!!

The tongue can bring DEATH or LIFE…Proverbs 18:21a
