The past three years have been an adventure. The Lord has taken me on an incredible journey. He has shown me who He is, he has whispered sweet truth and identity to my soul, he has sung songs of freedom over me, and he has walked with me through the dryness of the desert and into the depths of his ocean of grace. And one of the things I’ve learned is that I still have much to learn.
I spent a week in Georgia at the beginning of this month praying into what God had for me next. So, drumroll please……(seriously, right now on the desk, table, steering wheel…wait why are you reading and driving?)
Boom. My next step is to attend a leadership academy in Mijas, Spain. It is a six-month course, I will be going April-September. I will be doing the Church planting/Missional track. While in Spain I will receive mentoring and teaching from some amazing men and women of God who have been walking this journey into the heart of God much longer than I have. I will have the opportunity to sit under some incredible teaching and also begin to put those things into practice in the community around me. I will once again be living in community, like the World Race (this time with a roof and a bed, rather than a tent and a sleeping bag), and have the opportunity to pour into and be poured into by people of my own generation who are walking this same journey. G42 offers direction and focus, a way to make a plan for my future ministry. I have a heart and passion to see a generation walking in their full identity. To see a generation fully ALIVE in Christ. A generation discipled and discipling. I want to see the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. And that starts in Spain. That starts at G42. Would you help me go?
The cost of the school is $6,300.
My airfare is app. $1,400.
My additional expenses while there is app. $1,500.
My total cost for this next season is app. $10,200.
Over the next two months I need to raise the first half of this amount. I will be doing several fundraisers to help reach this goal, as well as seeking commitments for monthly support.
