Courtney, Jake, and I spent the month of July in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Coffee Bay,
South Africa, along with 4 teams and 8 Exposure participants. [World Race: Exposure is an awesome program
that allows its participants to experience life on the field with a World Race
team. They get to experience the culture and community of the WR and hopefully
one day do their own Race. ] It was a great time for the three of us to really
pour into each other and grow in our own community and unity. We don’t usually
get to be together for an entire month so I definitely treasured my time with
them.

It was a great month, you could see the ocean from where we
were tenting, I got to cook everyday, and our ministry was teaching surfing and
soccer to the children of the community. Life on the beach was great, although
it is winter in South Africa so it was a bit cold…but not so cold that it kept
us out of the water!

We worked with an organization called Volunteer in South
Africa, their vision is to see kids come to know Christ through community
sports programs. Here is a video of our month in Coffee Bay, made by U-Squads
very own Bekah Fritz::
