Before Jake and I left Delhi we had the opportunity to visit a leper colony. It wasn’t what I expected, but not much on this journey with God is what I expected. Let’s be honest, I was expecting this crazy experience where the entire community gets cleansed and limbs are restored, the Holy Spirit shows up and revival breaks out. So as we walked into this simple community of families, past a church, a corner store, and lines of homes, I was eagerly anticipating what God had in store for the day. “Lord, show your power!” No one was cleansed or healed, revival didn’t come flooding in, we just loved. We simply walked into that community and released the Kingdom of God through our love. We weren’t there long, we gave out mangos and bananas, visited a couple homes, and then just sat near the front gate and loved on some people. I still believe that revival and healing will come, but for now it was our job to simply love.
