KENYA I Bungoma
Hey Friends, Family, and Supporters
I made it to my next country after a 28 hour bus ride from Kigali, Rwanda to Narobi, Kenya and another 8 hours to Bungoma. We are working with another pastor this month, Pastor Jackson, and his church IGC (International Growth Center). I believe they have a website so be sure to check it out. Not sure what all our ministry will entail but we have already sang at church, been to their school, and worked at a near-by orphanage. I am so excited about what God is going to do here in Kenya.
Our team has actually grown after shrinking the past few months. A little recap: Our original leader (Michael) was bumped up to squad leader putting Tim Guindon as the new team leader. In Thailand we then again lost a member when Janell King was bumped up to team leader or another Team. So last month we chilled with only four of us. But after another team change, we gained another member Matthew Poole! You should check out his blog he is a pretty sweet kid! With the team change we will also be changing our team name…so stay tuned for that!
Hopefully next time I am on I will have some more blogs for you all. We will be doing a team fundraiser for Tara Davis to ensure she will be fully funded. I will post more about that later, but if you are interested in supporting her check out her blog!
