Here is a list of Expectations that I have for the trip at hand:
1. I expect to be radically changed as a Christ-follower.
2. I expect to miss running water.
3. I expect for these 11-months to be harder than I expect.
4. I expect to see things in Christ that I never thought possible.
5. I expect to miss my family.
6. I expect to miss hot showers and a feeling of cleanliness.
7. I expect for something to not go as planned.
8. I expect to wish I had brought something from home.
9. I expect to wish I had left something at home.
10. I expect to be blown away by my teammates and their love for the Father.
11. I expect that I will wish that I had taken more language classes.
12. I expect to have bad days that are greatly out weighed by good days.
13. I expect that I will wish that I could go home, but then expect that I will be so glad I won’t.
14. I expect that I will never want to leave a place at one second and desire to be at home the next.
15. I expect to change the world for God’s glory.
16. I expect to miss Noodles and Moe’s.
17. I expect to miss air conditioning and other small pleasures.
18. I expect that I will want to adopt 50 children while at the orphanage.
19. I expect that I will grow in my relationship with Christ and realize He is all I need.
20. I expect to see the works of God first hand.
 
These are just my expectations as of right now, I am sure others will arise!
