Bitter Sweet Good-byes

After seven months with Tim, Tara, and Leslie and a couple of months with
Matthew it was time to say good-bye. At the end of Tanzania, Tara Davis, my
teammate and one of my best friends would leave to go back home. Hearing the
confirmation from God she felt lead to return home. Though difficult for all of
us, we all felt a peace in our hearts that this was completely God led. She
ended up being joined by two other squad members too for various reasons.

With all this and God already preparing in our squad leaders hearts change,
it became time for a squad shuffle. So, the morning before we left Zanzibar
they gathered us together and announced new team changes.

My new team is made up of Carly Cronin (leader), Bethany Dragon,
Christopher Garcia, and of course me. We are all from different teams, but I
feel like God is really going to show up amongst the four of us in big ways in
the next four months. We are still thinking of a team name, but pray that God
will bless this team and bind us together for His glory.

Though, I am extremely excited about my new team, it is very hard to say
good-bye to my old teammates. We had become such a family over these last seven
months, and it is hard to think that I will no longer be doing ministry with
them for the next four months. But, I know that God’s plans are greater than mine
and He has HUGE plans for each one of my former teammates. Pray for our first
month together in Nepal, I know that God has got some things in store for each
one of us!
