If those at AIM could give World Racers one motto to live by, it would be to “drop all of your expectations.”

Well, I had been in DC for about 7 hours when expectations I thought to be pretty reasonable were shattered.

One minute I was sitting with some squad-mates in my hotel room chatting, the next minute I was waiting for my team-leader to share with us some sad news.

Because of a loss of squad-members between Training Camp and Launch, two teams in our squad were down to 5 members apiece. Therefore, our squad leaders decided it was in the best interest of the squad to divide one of the two up among the rest of the teams.

Well, my team AROMA was the one chosen.

I am now on team ROAR, which I know has something to do with rivers… I'll have to get back to you on that.

Although I will miss the opportunity to be on a team with those lovely AROMA ladies, I have an awesome sense of peace about my new, unexpected team.

Expectations, schmectpectations- I'm so looking forward to whatever God has up his sleeve this next year.

So, without further adeau, let me introduce you to my new team!
