Wrote this last night but the hotel internet tweaked out. Wupsy. Screen fast is happening, just not during the 2 minutes I post this baby!

Two blogs in 24 hours?! This won't happen often, probably never again. Gotta take advantage – we were asked to blog tonight and although I already did today, it can't hurt to spend some time with the internet while it lasts. Tomorrow morning everyone is starting a screen fast until Friday (no phone, computer, etc), then Friday we're off to potential no internet land!

So here we are.

All 4 squads are launching from the same city, but a few members from my squad (N) led worship for all squads tonight. I am blessed by a cloud of witnesses.

We had our first team meeting since training camp tonight and we talked about so much – food, receipts, growth, jump-roping, memorizing scripture, speaking TRUTH, disciplining our bodies, assuming the best, spiritual warfare, transparency, prayer, pink kiwis, so on & so forth. It was rad.

Vision: Team Luminous: Romans 12: 9-13: Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.

My Goals:

  • People are priority – everywhere, everyone.

  • Make Him the center, everything else is because of that.

  • Invite His presence more than my own. – Exodus 33:15, Moses wasn't going without the presence of God. Yes.

Wednesday and Thursday seem pretty laid back – team meetings, worship, spare time.

Victory to end this string of random:

Our beloved squad-mate, Jan from Germany(!), was $1,000 short on funds. He was informed that he may not be able to launch and informed our squad via Facebook earlier today. The girls in my hotel room prayed together right away and I know others were praying all over the place. Daniel and Meg (squadmates) organized a way to get Jan money: if everyone on our squad donates $20, he'll be fully funded. It started with that. I doubt everyone donated because it all happened so fast. Just a few hours later MORE than what he needed was raised. Might I copy Daniel's words on our squad page, "He is the God of the impossible!!!"

Amen!
