I am in Honduras and enjoying ministry here a public school last week and working at a private Christian school this week.
I would like to share a little bit more about our time in Yalta, Ukraine.
My top five favorite things about our time in Yalta, in no particular order-
1. The friends we made through the English classes we taught (most of them are teenagers and we would hang out with them outside of class as well).
2. Doing yard work and cleaning around the church, it is cool to see progress and know that it is really helping the church.
3. Learning some Russian! (Ok, I learned maybe five words but it was still fun)
4. Walking around Yalta and having some delicious sushi.
5.  Having a view of the Black Sea to look at everyday!  My teammates Sarah and Natasha jumped in the freezing water!
After we made the trek to Honduras I found out that my team changed to an all girls team.  It is something that was totally not excepted but I am excited about now.  I of course miss the men from team Thriven but it is exciting to be able to go deeper with the women on my team Kayneshna (of course in Russian, sorry if it is spelled wrong).
Thank you for your continued support and prayers.  Please pray that like it says in Hebrews 12:1-2 that we would run the race God has set before us and keep our eyes on Jesus.
