While here at the Jeremiah project we spend some mornings going into the neighborhood and praying for others. One woman we prayed for is Ouma, in afrikaans language Ouma means Grandma. Just talking to Ouma makes me smile and laugh. Ouma is an eighty something year old woman who continues to live out Gods plan for her life. She is a foster mother to one son currently and in the past she has fostered so many children that she has lost track. A few from my team were able to pray for Ouma. As she is getting older she has trouble with her ears, eyes, and knees. The only pain she has is from her knees, however she does not complain about that pain. She has a strong desire for the word of God and she enjoyed us reading passages of scripture to her. I asked if she is able to go to church and she said only when she has a ride. Our time with Ouma was special and I wanted to share a bit of that time with you all.
