After a great month of working with kids clubs and doing manual labor in Costa Rica I returned to the states. It has been two weeks since I have been home and I’m still processing the past eleven months. The good memories, the sad times, and the difficult times. The word that comes to mind is thankful. I am thankful to supporters who have helped make me going on this trip possible, to Adventures in Missions for believing in me to go share the love of Jesus with others, and to my teammates for giving me grace when I messed up.
While my World Race journey is over I will always carry with me the lessons I learned this past year. Lessons of faith and loving others even when you don’t want to. Also I am grateful for the sweet quiet times I was able to have with our Lord and savior on this trip.
