In the last few weeks the process of getting ready for the World Race has kicked into gear for me! I have my pack (65 liters!), an awesome sleeping bag, and support letters have been sent to name a few things. It is starting to sink in that in a few months I will be leaving.
I am not excited to leave family and friends for almost a year but I am excited to be a light to dark places, meet new people and experience new cultures.
Right now there are still a lot of things that I do not know about the trip like the exact date my team will leave, who will be in my team, and exactly where we will be going in each country. To be honest all these unknowns worry me. However, I am learning more and more what it means when God says to not worry about tomorrow.
Definitely a prayer request right now is that as I prepare for this trip I would not worry about what is to come but trust that God has it undercontrol- because He does!
