Hi. My name is Chelsea, and this is my blog! I haven’t blogged in almost two months! And I’m not even really sure why other than I am really bad at keeping people updated on my life. My bad.
I have lots of pictures I wanted to post in this blog, but it takes about 8 hours to load pictures on this internet. So I gave up on that! But you can see some pictures on my facebook if you are really interested in seeing my face.

So. I haven’t written anything since the very beginning of Malaysia. I am sitting in a very hot room in India, with a newspaper in hand, and killing wasps as they fly over my head. I’m getting really good at it! Anyways….

We have 2 more days left of ministry in India. It is mind blowing to me that it is already the end of month 5. I’m not sure how time goes by so fast on the world race. Although my mom would beg to differ I’m sure.

I’ll give you a short and sweet version of our work in Malaysia. We worked in a restaurant for our contacts, Peter and carol Chung. And let me just say, they are insane for Jesus! I love it. We worked in the restaurant trying to fulfill their vision of bringing in the younger people and bringing kingdom to the community around them. We also worked a lot with Burmese refugees. We spent a lot of time teaching English at one of the Burmese refugee schools. We would also teach English at night to families, as well as lead small family groups in bible studies. The Burmese are a people that are so on fire for god and truly live out the meaning of “suffering for Christ.” Most have been kicked out of their country for religious reasons. Malaysia was a great month for me spiritually. I grew on so many levels. Which, I will talk about in my next blog! Boom.

Now, INDIA. India has rocked my world. I love everything about India; from the food, to the people, to the spirit that is here, and even to the hot hot HOT weather. This country, so far on the race, has been one of my favorites. Simply because of how on fire the Indian people are. I have never seen a country more desperate for a God that saves. A God that loves them always. So desperate that they give everything they have, day and night, just so they can see his face. They display a furious love that radiates the power of the Kingdom.

We work mainly at a church called Siloam worship Centre. It is run by one of the most incredible men (our contact) I have ever met, Pastor Silvi Kothapally. He had a vision for this church a few years ago, and has been blessed to see this church grow to a size of over 300 people. Beyond this church, we also travel around to some of pastor’s smaller villages that he ministers to. We also spent about a week doing VBS in the mornings for the children of the church. It has been a blessing to be a part of Pastor Silvi’s vision. We have loved getting to spend time with his family and the members of the church. They have all quickly become like a second family to us, and we are all pretty sad to be leaving! Not to mention their cooking is PHENOMENAL. I blame India for my rapid weight gain this month.

I

ndia is a nation that is in the process of being radically transformed. There are small villages celebrating the kingdom all over India. I believe that it is from those small villages, and the people’s dedication to the word, that all Hinduism and Muslim religions will be wiped out and Jesus Christ will reign here as their eternal savior. As the one true King that has saved their lives. I believe an irresistible revolution has just begun in India. And it won’t stop until the whole nation is transformed.

Next, we are off to Nepal! Next week (the 1 of June) we will fly out of Hyderabad India and head on to Nepal. I’m not exactly sure what our ministry will be there, but I will update as soon as I find out!

God is moving in mighty, mighty ways. Continue to be in prayer for us as His word continues to rule our lives.
