I sat down tonight in hopes of writing a thumping good read for all of you. I wanted to create something that would churn your senses and rattle your nerves. I wanted to hit you in your soul and make you overflow with the Holy Spirit. I so desired to make you submit to His infinite authority. The only problem is, God has been filling me with something different lately. After so much frustration in making myself change, God has blessed me with an immense amount of joy.
My team, our ministry, this city and this country keep continually bringing a huge smile to my face… and i can’t get enough of it. I wake up excited, ready to start the new day and get something done. I look forward to seeing people and wanting to spread His love. Our team has so many laughs between us that someone actually peed their pants… and it was perfectly normal behavior. I constantly smirk with glee when I start sweating during the working day. Even though we are involved in a ministry (http://www.remembernhu.org/) that would seem to put you in sad spirits, I can’t help but skip down the road to hang out with the girls who live here. My heart is so blissful here… I can’t really thank God enough for such a blessing.
