Swadeekah from Thailand! I am currently seated on the floor of the Roloff’s house outside of Chiang Mai and I am chowing down on some delicious chocolate chip pancakes!
As I sit here, drooling over how fantastic Brooks and Michael are for making said scrumptiousness – I can’t help but mention how fantastic team Rush really is.
brooks elliott- our honorable, intentional and lighthearted team leader. it is hard to find someone who is completely engulfed in seeking the Lord at all times- but brooks definitely fits the mold. he is a force to be reckoned with and a joy to be around. i am happy to say he is my leader and more excited to have him as a life-long friend.
dawn gorczynski- the queen of faith in epic proportions. dawns prayers are like those you read in the bible. she gets so passionate about living for the Lord and so passionate about spreading His glory I’m pretty positive a herd of rhinos couldn’t stop her. plus- she is a fierce friend and a loving spirit. what a woman!
michael leutwyler- our merciful soul with a seriously sunny disposition. if cleverness, passion, fun and a serious heart for Christ were slapped into a blender you would probably end up with something resembling michael. he is so willing and ready to be challenged and set up for success in the Lord. he pushes and strives forward on a daily basis and i am so glad to watch every minute of it.
ashley peterson- a voice of reason in a nutty, nutty world. she is a woman who speaks with such conviction and fire inside of her – you can’t help but to listen! she constantly hits the nail on the head when any of us need encouragement and is never hasty to utter a loving word. she gets such a glitter in her eye when she speaks about our Father and it helps me grin from ear to ear to see someone so happy about being His daughter.
and of course- the sweet, loving, and prophetic (old faithful from Lionheart) Angela Aston! little angela may seem quiet at first- but watch out for that fiesty woman of God! she is very selective with what she says… yet her words never have anything short of an extreme impact on us. when she hears the voice of the Lord speak you better hold on and watch the show! her gift of prophecy is absolutely incredible and so is this fun-sized lady. she cares about all of us so much… i can’t thank Him enough for sending her our way.
for everything it’s worth- Thailand is incredible. we are having a fantastic time doing manual labor and working with a girl’s home here in the north of the country. our team grows closer together every day. we have renamed our team feedback time to LASAGNA time- because we are so hungry to get to the meat and cheese … and everyone loves lasagna! we constantly challenge each other in order to become closer to our Lord and Savior. Christ has rocked all of our worlds- what can He do for yours?
