If you hit the date right on the nose, there are just 2 weeks until the biggest squad launch in World Race history. On the 4th of September, the wonderful J-Squad and our 3 sister September 2012 squads will be headed to Chicago for an enormous launch out into the nations. With AIM staff, leadership and squad coaches in tow, we are looking at a group of about 400+ people in the Windy City. If that number isn’t big enough, AIM is also opening the event to any local (or the eager traveling type) World Race alumni to come and join in the fun, leaving the number with room to grow close to 450. All in all, this up and coming launch of world changers is reaching epic proportions and making me more peaceful and antsy by the day.
To address the peace point, it really comes down to letting you know just how legit J-Squad has been already. The Lord has given me a sound mind (after a few twists and turns) and a fire-blazen heart for what is going on in the Spirits of all 60 of them.These people, in my opinion, are a little out of their minds for Jesus and I find so much peace knowing that their crazy faith is even more apparent than mine! Not to anyone’s surprise, but Satan has been doing his darndest to try and rain on J-Squad’s parade as often as possible. It is his death-wallowing nature to try and stop people from making big moves in the living Kingdom of God but my wonderful squad has really been fighting for one another to get moving for His Glory! It’s awe-inspiring to see that they are really taking their positions as sons and daughters and coming into full reliance on their Father. When one of them is struggling, they are willing to be honest and ask for prayers and encouragement. When someone has a praise for our Father, all of them jump in and praise Him together. Every time I check my phone or get on my computer I have another notification or email that shows different ways that they are loving one another before we even get on the field in absolutely everything that they do. I really wanted a group of loving fighters and God has turned this squad into a group of Christ-loving warriors!
As for the antsy bit, I am just ready to get on the field and be a part of all the wild stuff God has waiting for J-Squad this year! To see just how much they are already walking in now and to know that there is so much more to come makes me so excited that I’m almost not really sure what to do with myself. I feel a lot like Ricky Bobby when he won his first NASCAR race in the movie Talladega Nights. He was so excited that he basically lost control of his body and started to some really weird things.
With all this Ricky Bobby feeling weirdness, I want to make sure I thank you all for the support you have given me already. Your decision to spiritually and financially support me as I squad lead means so much to me. Your trust in what I am doing and what the Lord continues to do in my life really shows the faithfulness in each one of your hearts. In just a few weeks after sending my letter- I am already at $2,300! With right at $1550 to go, I can’t help but thank you for all that you have done to help me out! You all have been so good to me and continue to show your heart for the nations by empowering me to do so much in this world already. Jesus is really up to something in my life and you guys have made so many of my hopes and dreams come true! Every word and every dollar sets me up for such great success in His plans for my life. You guys are doing so much more than you can see!
