Hello!

I hope everyone is doing well, wherever you may be! I have been doing some southern traveling the last week and half and I have not been on top of my blogging game. I apologize to those of you who actually read this bad boy word for word!
I want to confess that I have not been fully honest with all of you. When I was offered a job at a particular massage business I was not at all comfortable with the place. I wanted a job at any cost! I thought if I just bit the bullet I would learn to like the environment but God had other plans. In short, things did not work out between myself and the employers. The business was not what I was looking for and I was not what they were looking for. I have a gift for judging on a feeling basis and I did not feel right from the moment I received the call for the interview. I am happy I was offered a job but I am happier knowing that God is guiding me in another direction.
In other news, I have had a pretty good time in the last 1 1/2 weeks. My parents, my friend Christina, my 5 year old cousin Caitlin and I all went to the greatest beach in the world, PAWLEY’S ISLAND! (Ah, to live there forever would be pure bliss) I also went to visit a few friends from high school in Charleston and I thoroughly enjoyed walking my bum off. I had a great time kicking back and being American (aka wasting money on things I don’t really need).
Today, however, was a really weird day. I decided to run away to Brevard to visit with friends and hopefully finish filming my video for my blog but my mind had a separate agenda. I brought my precious best friend poodle Ling Ling with me and we are back home and exhausted. I spent almost all day chatting and hanging around with my old B-town buddies and I didn’t accomplish much of anything. I think I just needed to get out of town for a few hours and get my head on straight. I am trying to figure out what God is telling me to do but I am feeling a little befuddled.
I think I have a few more road trips up my sleeve in the next few weeks. My friends were all very curious as to what my trip would entail and they are all on the supportive bandwagon, believers or not. I am very grateful to have such a nice surrounding of people, not matter how random our meetings may be.
Last but not least, this saturday is my 22nd birthday! I am happy to be alive in this work of art world we are living in. I am hopefully going to the zoo to gawk at all the super cool animals. I will also be cheering on my beloved Carolina Hurricanes and I will be featured on the jumbo-tron for fan birthdays! Keep your eye out for me on the Versus channel.
I hope that you all have a blessed week and I will be finishing that durn video soon enough!
