A month ago I wrote a blog asking for help.

I never imagined how incredible the response would be. I asked the Lord, and people, for $1,090 to help me finish the next 5 months of my Race strong: $340 for my needs and $150 per month for my personal spending budget.

The Lord moved and people have responded with overwhelming generosity and I have raised over 100% of my total fundraising goal of $1090!!!

Thank you, thank you to the 12 people who donated financial gifts, to Kim Harris for some sweet shoes and supplies, and to everyone else for their thoughts and prayers!  I am overwhelmed and incredibly grateful! Your generosity has enabled me to bless others all over the world. It's super cool that together we are are expanding God's Kingdom of Love!

Here is a little update!

This month my team and I are in a village outside of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We are teaching English 5 days a week and going on outreach on Sundays to other neighboring villages to share the message of Jesus. I teach a class of 10 preschoolers and they are so stinking cute! I never thought I'd like teaching but it's been my favorite month so far. We live with a local pastor, sleeping on his living room floor. We have bucket showers and our friend Janta translates and cooks traditional meals for us. My team is thriving and more unified than ever. We changed our name to the Greek word Koinonia, meaning community and unity. It's used to describe the early church in Acts!

Two of my teammates are battling sickness so please keep them in your prayers! Thank you again to everyone who has come alongside me on this journey! I could not do it without you!

Love,

Chelle
