No eye has seen, No ear has
heard, No mind can conceive what God has prepared for those who love him

           Corinthians 2:9
 I sit
here in Malaysia, amazed at God. We are on our fourth month already and I find
myself overwhelmed by all that has happened already.  I want to give an
overview of the Philippines before I start on the journey and adventure of
Malaysia.

Here are
some of the things our squad experienced.

Erin learned
what it meant to be extravagantly generous through the people who have nothing,
yet offer all they have. (Like a piece of cardboard to sit on or their lollipop
when they had no clothes)

Nicole met a
lady with breast cancer, she knew she could not meet her needs physically but
knew she was called to pray and help make an everlasting impact.

Brooke
prayed for a man who was sick in bed for 12 days and saw him get up and walk.

Carl met a
man in jail who was baptized in 2008 and that light was brought to over forty
men, and forty men were baptized this past month.

I was
transformed by this month; I feel I am walking out a new person. God showed me
his deep love and is changing my heart more and more to breaks like his does
for this world. I knew it for myself but as I saw the poverty struck
communities I wondered,
God, is there not more? but he challenged me with the question Am I not enough?. Then God brought me to this scripture You are my Lord, apart from you I have no good thing (John 4:4). The worldly things will pass, it’s
enternal life that matters. Apart from God we have nothing, these people I saw
living in boxes need Jesus, need His hope, need His joy and need His love. As
you know I met a girl named Roxanne with one leg. I have seen her transformed
in three weeks from the first meeting with her.  We could not get her to
smile longer than one second and now I hear laughter and joy. Nika (the
blind abandoned girl) sang at church and she is now known and their is hope in her
smile.

Here are
some of the thing we got to be a part of:
paint a widows house, paint the girls room in the orphanage, sift sand to make
cement to finish rooms, paint the trim of a room, layed tile in a room, walk in
and out of hundreds of squatters homes to get a census of the community- this
task took us hours but I know God used us to bring light and smile to homes. I
know this census will be a useful tool for the ministry and will help provide
to homes.

I am sad to
leave, but
I had to bring it to Gods feet and surrender the fact that He loves
this place, more than I do and has it in his hands. He is the God of this city or this nation.
This is the life God has brought me on for the next 8 months and I am so
excited to be a part of it. I am learning and being transformed each day.
Learning to walk in his plans and letting him guide my feet.

Philippines
will always be in my heart, as it was a month of transformation and hope. It
took me to places I never knew, it is funny how the Philippines was not
originally on the route of this year but God knew what we all needed and knew
what the people of the Philippines needs.

 EVERY
BLESSING GOD POURS OUT I TURN BACK TO PRAISE and THANKSGIVING.
Side note: Teams changes were made at the end of last month. Our team stayed the same but we have an addition JORDAN DRAKE. We are so excited to see what God has in store with Jordan being a part of the team now. Please be praying for all the teams as changes were hard for many.

( We were really EXCITED —> can you tell )
(No Picture of Jordan but we’re excited and greet him with a smile)
