Life has been crazy since
being in Thailand. I am not sure where to  start in it all b
ut here it goes. We have said
our goodbyes to Robby and Tara (our squad leaders) and they have appointed new
l
eaders to rise up as squad leader.- Krissy and Austin– please be praying
direction and guidance for them. It is sad to say goodbye, and I miss them
already but I know this is a new season in the race for them, our squad and for
me individual
ly.

God has been speaking in
mighty ways
these last few days, I had asked God to break my heart and teach me
how to love better. Love when it is hard, when it’s not fun and even when I do
not want to. I broke down one night in worship. God was telling me it was time
to humble myself and that I cannot love without him. I have had difficulties
loving when it is hard. I was giving up and God told me without him it is
impossible to love. He has not called us to just love the ones that are easy,
for everyone can do that but to love when it takes all of you. God has shown me it
is a new season of the race and he will begin to show me things I have never
seen before, sometimes it will hurt or not makes sense but I will begin to walk into
them and be transformed.  Please be
praying for me, as I am vulnerable with the things God is doing and that I am continually
opening the doors that God is waiting for me to open.

After an amazing four days in
Bangkok, saying our goodbyes, and leaving with many memories, we moved to
Phuket, Thailand. For the month the men have split off and the girls (from team
S.W.A.T and Ignitous) have come together for the month to serve each other, build
one another up and serve God.

 The ministry we are working
for this month is called, S.H.E (self help and empowerment). It is a place
committed to helping woman and children at risk in Thailand, many of whom are
trapped in the commercial sex trade. It provides a place where they can build
up new skills (such as making jewelry, chocolate, cookies, table clothes,
cards, etc) and learn how to work at a hotel. It is a place where they need to
choose to come themselves and commit; they are not forced but told there is a
better way to life, and they will help them succeed in any way they can.

As we serve here we get to go
out in the bars each night and get to know the women. The women are craving
something more, a true love and hope. We get to show them that we love them
because God loves them unconditionally. We see many things in one night that
may include ladyboys (which are men who have had sex change, it is a cheap
thing to do here so many are doing it), ladies dancing on poles, men trying to
get some sort of satisfaction for the night, and women trying to get money to
provide- it doesn’t make sense. I talked to one woman and one of the first
things that came out of her mouth was ” I am getting money to go home soon”,
she was excited but tricked into staying -who knows if that is true. I asked
her if she liked working there and her instant reply was no, she just want to
be with her son. See, these woman, come from far places to come work just to
make more money. Eighteen year old woman flaunting themselves because they
think this is what it has come down to in order to survive or provide. Every
time a man walks by all the women put their arms out to grab him, hoping
they can lure him in for the night. Most hate their job, working 8pm -5 am every day.

We go out each night, getting
to know woman building relationship and bringing the love of Christ. I walk
through the bar knowing I am different, I have a light beaming off of me that
woman and men need, which is Christ. We are here to fight for these beautiful
people, as we talk to them and pray for them. As we get to know woman and go back
each night, we are here to listen and can invite them out for lunch and tell
them they are valued and worthy, we talk to them about S.H.E and let them know
there are other options.

Pray for us please (if you can
commit to everyday as you wake up (which 7 am there is 9pm here approximately) which
is the time we are about to go out). Pray for boldness, divine appoints and Gods
love to radiate off us. This month is night ministry which defiantly gets to
our bodies, so please pray for the strength and energy of God to be evident.

I also am praying for more
support to finish the race. I am only a couple thousand dollars away for the
end goal. I stand in complete awe of the goodness of God as I watch him unfold
his amazing plan. Please think about supporting financially I want to continue
to serve the nations.
