What is prayer and why do we do it? Prayer is a discussion with God, a dialogue.
We do it to learn more about God and align ourselves with God. As we pray and learn more about God our prayer
turn into prayers of glory, praise and desires that God has for us and others.
God has been showing me the importance of praying,
speaking words of life and lifting others up. Throughout the beginning of our
ministry here in New Zealand we had an opportunity to join in on a four hour
house of prayer session each day of the week. It was a time people gathered to
sit with God, read the bible, listen and worship God, followed by a time to
lift others up and pray for others on their behalf. I found myself burning inside for others. I
found out one of my desires and passions for everyone I meet is to see everyone
at their full potential. God has so much in store for us, and loves us so
deeply and I crave for everyone to come to a deeper knowledge of that. I see great potential in everyone and want
that to rise up in each person.
I have been talking to friends and hearing their stories
about listening and lifting others up, hearing stories about people getting new
knowledge about God and desiring more- THIS gives me LIFE. I am so passionate about watching and encouraging
people in who they are and what great plans God have for them.
We have been working at the call2all conference, and they
have the world’s largest map. It is laid on the ground and people walk on it
and pray over the countries and cities.
It was beautiful thing- lifting up my country, province and the place
that were on my heart.
My prayer for you is to be joyful always, pray continually
and give thanks in all circumstances. There is power in our words so speak
life, lift others up and edify one another.

Update:
We leave New Zealand on Tuesday – cannot believe one
month has already come to an end. We will be travelling to Beswick, Australia. It
is an aboriginal community, where we will be working with the local pastor, encouraging
and speaking life into this ministry. We
know that we have electricity and beyond that we will find out when we get
there. We will be entering into their hot and wet season. Please pray that God will use us in the ways
this ministry needs and that life and joy can be radiant.
