The World Race (a ministry of Adventures in Missions) is an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world and it’s not your typical mission’s experience.
It’s a way for young adults to abandon a traditional life-style in exchange for an experience bigger than myself. Through adventure, ministry, community and self discovery; World Racers gain hearts that move their hands to action. And the best part of the world race is that it’s merely the beginning of a lifelong adventure.
I am now home and have completed this 11 month journey. I am in the midst of seeking what is next and following my passions. I am beyond scared but am more then willing.
Please also check out Lifeteams- School of Urban Youth Outreach. This is an 8.5 month course involving hands on youth work, character building, community living and an inner city missions heart. I took this program in 2007 , which dramatically changed my life.
