Are we
more than just friendly people?

As a Christian I have been pondering this for myself, how   am I different
than others?

If we call ourselves Christian, are we different, then the people we live around ? and how?

I mean anyone can be friendly, serve, help  pick up
trash, but how are we bringing Christ love to others? Christ calls us to go to
the nations and preach the good news ( it does not, just mean standing up in a
church, but expressing the hope and love in Christ, to one person
(maybe), or two
or a group well standing on the street or in the grocery store)

How does it look to be more then friendly?
It says in the Bible, that anyone can be friends to the friendly, but it’s hard
to be friends to your enemy.

Are we stepping out? praying for others, that we maybe do not like, or for the homeless, or for the rich ?I have been challenge with this
question, not knowing “the answ
er”, but finding my own way, I can be
different.

My teacher in class challenged each student with being “WOW-WEIRD”!

What is this you ask, a way for us to step out in the strength and power of God
well bringing the hope of God with us, Being different, not normal (well what
is normal anyways), but stepping out in ways that people think, WOW that was
different and I want what they have. Which can only be described as Christ.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I
fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm
27:1

God is light and give us life, if this is true, why are
we afraid, for he is with us.

Are we being Christ-like, is this world, imitating the
father?

This may be challenging to you, as it is to me but I
want to challenge you be “Wow-weird”
and be more than just friendly people,
but people who have a message of Hope and love to bring to the world.
Spend time searching how this may look in your life, spend time seeking the father of what he wants you to do.
