Some things to know so far:

-Always take your shoes off before entering a house
-Feet are considered filthy, and the head is holy
-95% of Thailand people are Buddhist, <1% are Christian
-I need to duck my head when going through every doorway (I have the bumps to prove it)
-Cold showers (pouring a bucket of water) are the way to go (not that I have any choice in the matter)
-Thailand is hot & humid
-It is okay for guys to hold hands as friends, trust me 😉
-Don’t talk bad about their king

(This is Sophie, I love this girl and miss her!!!)

-Meals are always an adventure (duck, frog, ants (delicacy), mystery meat, etc.)

                                                            (Dinner)

           (Ants)

-I miss chocolate

God is definitely at work here in Sisaket, Thailand. We are prayer walking the village in the morning, teaching English at the school for two hours, and playing games with the kids after school for two hours. God has opened doors up for his name to be known among these children, whether it is through songs or skits, but these kids are precious, and we are fighting for them every day. Pray that these beautiful kids may come to realize and believe God, despite what their parent’s reactions may be. Family and honor are everything here, but I pray that truth supersedes that. Pray that the Holy Spirit breaks down enemy strongholds in a mighty way. Appreciate the prayers & support!
